The Old Lock-Up

The Old Lock-Up was built in 1842 and the Chapel in 1812 and is situated on the edge of the Anglo Saxon historic town of Wirksworth with glorious views to the rear.

It offers historically unique luxury accommodation in a Magistrate’s House, Coach House and Gothic Chapel. All are furnished to a very high standard with antique beds and many extras provided. It has excellent cuisine using local produce; homemade bread and guests can relax in the double spa bath and afterwards in the Victorian Lounge featuring an open fire.
