Stoney Ridge

Stoney Ridge, boasts a unique position set on the edge of the picturesque and friendly village of Bradwell with views over the village and with moors and crags beyond. Your hosts are Helen and Richard Plant. Helen is a lifelong resident of the village and we began taking guests in July 1990. Richard has over 40 years experience of the local area.

Accommodation

We have accommodation for 6 people, in 4 rooms, 3 double en-suite and 1 twin bedded room with private facilities. All our rooms provide the usual array of accessories with one or two extras. There is a large residents lounge, which opens on to a balcony overlooking the valley.

The Holt

This double room has an en-suite bathroom with corner bath.

The Sett

The beds in this room can be configured as double or twin. There is a wash basin in the room and a private bathroom with bath and power shower for your sole use directly across from the bedroom door.

The Den

This double room is our cosiest bedroom with an en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin. It commands a lovely view over the village of Bradwell and Bradwell Edge.

The Drey

This double room with spacious en-suite shower room has extended views over Bradwell.

Breakfasts are served on individual tables in our dining room. Our full English Breakfast (which is top rated in our visitors book) comprises local produce wherever possible. We also serve a hearty vegetarian alternative, along with fresh fruits, yoghurts and a variety of cereals.

Facilities

We have a heated indoor pool which measures twenty-eight feet by twelve feet; guests are welcome to use this facility at no extra charge, swimming times being before breakfast and between late afternoon and early evening. Please note pool will be closed at certain times of the year.

There is a large residents lounge with a television and information table. Leading off the lounge is a large balcony which has magnificent views. We can also offer wifi connection.

Stoney Ridge is perfectly located for all of Derbyshire’s main tourist attractions.
