Christmas Events and Activities
With all the schools breaking up for the holidays and even the big kid of the family finishing work, its always nice for the whole family to go out for the day in any of the beautiful towns Derbyshire has to offer. Listed below are various family events happening through out December.
Castleton Christmas Lights

At Christmas time the village of Castleton becomes a magical wonderland with lights, decorations and an array of Christmas trees, which attracts visitors from all over the country.
Santa Special at Peak Rail

Santa wishes you to join him at Rowsley south station as he boards his magical steam train for a truly wonderful start to the festive season.
Victorian Christmas Weekend

Over the first weekend of December Matlock Town Council are promoting parades, entertainment and the switching on of the Christmas Lights all in the theme of the Victorian times. The weekend attracts visitors from near and far.
Chatsworth Dressed for Christmas
