Crooked Spire Church

The famous Crooked Spire has many legends and rumours concerning its unusual shape. It is certain however, that it gives the town of Chesterfield its identity the world over.

Open Times: Monday to Saturday 9am - 5pm (9am - 3pm in January and February).

With its name taken from the Revolution of 1688, this former ale house is said to be the place that local nobleman gathered to plot the overthrowing of King Kames II.
