Stretching 15 miles down the river valley from Matlock Bath to Derby, this World Heritage Site contains a fascinating series of historic mill complexes, including some of the world's first 'modern' factories.
Location: Junction of A6 in Belper town and A517 road to Ashbourne
Dates Open: Feb to Nov. CLOSED Dec & Jan. (See website for special events.)
Open Times: Mar - Oct: Wed to Sun & Bank Hol Mondays, 11am to 4pm: Nov + Feb, Sat & Sun 11am to 4pm.
