A small village that can be reached by passing through both Brailsford and Mercaston. The Church of All Saints dates back to Domesday, and has various architectural influences. There is a hollow yew tree in the churchyard that is over 1000 years old. Devil Halter Chapel has an interesting tale attached, concerning the antics of a drunken local in the 18th century.
