You may need your tin hat and gas mask if you visit Crich Tramway Village during its special August 1940s event. The museum will be turning back to a period when Britain was at war. Historic wartime road and military vehicles will be on show and on the move, mingling with a range of vintage trams, which visitors will be able to ride on as often as they like. There will also be a Spitfire on display outside the Assembly Rooms. Rita's tearoom will be serving wartime fayre and the Red Lion public house will be serving drinks while visitors can play traditional pub games. entertainment will include songs from popular entertainers. Plus dress up in 1940s costume for a reduced admission charge.
Last admission is 1.5 hours before closing.
Adults £16.50, Seniors (60+) £12.50, Children (4-15yrs) £9.50,and Family (2A+3C) £39.50. Save 50p per ticket when you book online at least 24 hours in advance.
Children under 16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
