Located on the site of John Lombe's Silk Mill of the early 1720s – England's first ‘modern' factory – the museum illustrates the full extent of Derbyshire's industrial achievement. Exhibits include George Fletcher's ‘Grasshopper' and a major collection of Rolls-Royce aero engines.

Opening Times:
Open throughout the year (except Christmas Day and New Year)
Mon 11 am - 5 pm
Tues - Sat 10 am - 5 pm
Sun (inc. Bank holidays) 1 pm - 4 pm

Dates Open: Daily (Some openings over Christmas holidays. Please enquire)
