About The Old Manor
Built between the 13th and 15th centuries, the hall's architectural features include a rare king post, medieval fireplace, a Tudor door and some 17th-century Flemish glass. The delightful gardens include a parterre herb garden.
Opening times:
Property is tenanted and visits are strictly by appointment only by letter to Mrs J. Raine at The Old Manor, or fax to 01335 324280, a minimum of 7 days in advance. Visitors will be guided around the hall and gardens. Last admission 30mins before closing.
Accessibility:
Parking - Very limited parking by the church
Building - 30 steps to entrance with handrail. The hall has two flights of stairs. Undercroft has difficult winding staircase. Seating available
WCs - Adapted WC adjacent to hall
Grounds - Partly accessible, some steps
