A Bronze Age stone circle enclosed by an earth embankment and ditch. Within the circle are 41 stones also in a circle, which possibly once stood but are now fallen. Set on a hill top there are spectaculer views across to North, East and West.Managed by Peak District National Park Authority.

The mill at Stainsby was built in 1850 to grind flour for the Hardwick Estate. It was powered by water and its 17ft water wheel.
