About Litton

Close to Bakewell in the Peak District Litton is at a height of 1000ft above sea level. The stone cottages date from the 17th and 18th centuries and surround the village green that still has its village stocks and an ancient cross. Close to the village is the derelict Litton Mill, built in 1782.
