About Alstonefield
A Peak District village atop a limestone plateau. The village was once a bustling market area, and later hosted cattle sales, which continued into the 20th century. The village contains the Hope House Costume Museum, and St Peters church, which in part dates back to Norman times, amongst other interesting buildings and features.
