A small village close to the city of Derby, with a splendid church dating back as far as the 13th century although it has undergone a lot of restoration and changes over the centuries. There is a stone pillar-box in the village and also 3 fountains given by the Rev Sitwell in 1824, made significant by the fact that they are rather odd features.
