Ilam

About Ilam

A picturesque village at the lower end of the River Manifold. It was rebuilt in the 1820’s by Jesse Watts-Russell, in a move away from the look of Ilam Hall. The cottages have a Swiss/Alpine look about them, highly unusual for the area.

The hall and country park are owned by the National Trust and is a very popular tourist spot.
