Set in the Peak district below Stanton Moor that provides fantastic views looking across the north Derbyshire region. Lots of character makes this an appealing village with its narrow alleyways and cottages from the 17th & 18th centuries.

The moor itself is one of the finest prehistoric sites in the Derbyshire region, the ‘Nine Ladies Stone Circle’ being one of the most well known. It is actually a barrow that has the earth removed.
