About Biggin
The village origins can be traced back to the monks from Garendon Abbey who farmed the land here in the 13th century. It is a popular starting point for tourists heading for the Tissington trail and Wolfscote Dale.
Biggin also has a small number of caravan sites in the surrounding area.
