About Over The Wall Camp - Summer Fun Day

Our first ever Fun Day at our new home in the Midlands will take place on Saturday 28 June, at Over The Wall Camp, The Settlement, Ockbrook from 11am until 4pm.

Activities and entertainment include:
- Inflatable Warrior Wall & Helter Skelters
- Bouncy castle
- Axe throwing (adults)
- Wrestling demos & skills sessions
- Face painting & glitter
- Creative crafts
- Circus play & clown
- Sports & games
- Derbyshire Fire & Rescue (fire engine, VR Van & inflatable smoke tent)
- Derbyshire Constabulary (police car)
- Variety of stalls
- Raffle & tombola
- Picnic area - and lots more!

There will be a variety of catering and refreshments available (food trucks, hot and cold drinks, bars serving alcohol and an ice cream van). Accessible toilets will be available, including baby changing facilities.

Please bring cash if possible for the stalls, although some card facilities will be available for the raffle, tombola and inflatables.

About Over The Wall Camp:

Over The Wall Camp is a UK based charity for children with serious illness and disabilities, and their families, to discover a world of mischief and magic. A place where they can be brave and have fun with others. These amazing places are physical – in residential camps and also available online – with Camp in the Cloud. And what’s more, it’s all free!

Their everyday challenges are unique and special. Attending a transformational camp or experience allows them to leave that all at the gate. They get reminded of what it means to be a child. They get to laugh, dance and cause mischief all in a safe relaxed environment.

Currently, Over The Wall Camp supports over 1,000 children and families each year across our UK-wide network of camps. From 2026, our camps will be held at our new (and first ever!) permanent home in Ockbrook, Derbyshire, with the site currently being developed ready for opening next year.
